In a century-old building in Copenhagen, Aspekt Office has designed an open, collaborative space for digital product agency Work & Co that fuses historical architecture with modern needs, and the city’s signature pared-back Scandinavian style. Light oak and soft furnishings create a warm contrast to the raw concrete pillars and exposed industrial-style ceiling, and the large windows flood each area with natural light. A need for a sense of community was achieved with the addition of long communal tables and the use of glass walls that separate spaces for privacy when needed, while simultaneously feeling a part of the working environment.
