SHELTER

SHELTER wellness centre in Sydney | Gym and spa design | Softer Volumes

Located in the Sydney suburb of Double Bay, SHELTER is a modern wellness centre that focuses on nourishing both mind and body. Designed by Australian studio Esoteriko, the interiors feature light wood and steel finishings softened by indoor plants and plentiful natural light. Where possible, screens are used instead of walls to offer privacy without compromising openness between the centre’s four areas; gym classes, saunas, ice baths and a juicery. Through its design, SHELTER acts as an embodiment of its philosophy; to encourage a contemporary, holistic and restorative approach to health and fitness.
