Haight, São Paulo

Haight, São Paolo, Brazil | Designed by Entre Terras and Pablo Resende | Softer Volumes

A collaborative effort from Entre Terras and Pablo Resende, clothing brand Haight’s São Paolo store is an exploration of light and surface. With blank walls and minimal furniture, the architecture focuses on the visitor’s experience and movement through the space, rather than decoration. Built around the building’s original layout, textured sculptural walls guide patrons to each section of the shop. In the centre, an uncovered elliptical courtyard creates a dramatic opening, allowing air and sunlight to flood in. Throughout, large, smooth boulders of sandstone link the retail space to the brand’s coastal origins.
