Dome’s interior draws inspiration from Buckminster Fuller’s Dome Home, encapsulating a retro-futuristic ambiance within the striking architecture designed by OMA. The space features a central circular bar surrounded by stainless steel monoliths housing iconic JBL 4355 speakers, creating a high-tech yet earthy feel. Complementing these elements are Indonesian tribal sculptures, like those of the Asmat, adding an authentic cultural touch.

Dome prioritises sustainability, utilising reclaimed wood and furniture throughout the space. Antique rugs add a homey feel, while staff uniforms are crafted from upcycled cotton. This approach not only reduces waste but also celebrates the beauty of imperfections, as highlighted by Creative Director Isaac Larose: “If you look closely, you can see the imperfections in the shades of the reclaimed furniture. We decided to celebrate these imperfections rather than hide them, just like we do with our wines and produce.”

Designed as a place for connection, Dome features a large communal area where guests can mingle and draw inspiration from a curated selection of books on architecture, design, art, food, and wellness. Custom-designed pieces, including OMA-designed sofas and lounge chairs by Potato Head’s in-house design studio, enhance the inviting atmosphere.

Chef Diego Recarte’s menu at Dome offers a modern take on food, inspired by his experiences in South American and European kitchens. The dishes highlight locally sourced ingredients from organic farmers, while the wine bar features natural, organic, and biodynamic options. This commitment to conscious consumption aligns with Desa Potato Head’s broader philosophy of ‘Good Times, Do Good.’
